The leading French manufacturer of chocolates for mass distribution asks us to provide clarity to the parent company on specific coatings for the Spanish subsidiary derived from its activity. We analyse all existing policies, both local and global policies, that have implications for Spanish society and we observe that damage and civil liability insurance are contracted from France through an "integrated" international insurance programme. Our experience in international programs allows us to easily detect possible local contingencies that have not been detected at a global level given the particularity of the insurance market and the specific needs of the Spanish company. It should be remembered that "integrated" international insurance programmes are often a solution for groups of companies with branches without decision-making power, however, in practice, the coverage is often inappropriate to the culture, geographical location or level of autonomy of the subsidiary. In the case of the international damage and civil liability programme of Spanish society, we detected that the coverage was limited and was not in accordance with the compensation that is currently required at the Spanish level. We convey our concern to the client and recommend new coverage for a lower premium cost thanks to the contracting of "stand alone" policies, i.e. contracted from Spain and not from France with its subsequent advantages: 1 . Management of policies by the subsidiary 2 . Taking into account local needs 3 . Absence of a "guarantee gap" in relation to the needs of the group 4 . Proximity service for the subsidiary 5 . Savings on premiums 6 . Policies drafted in the language of the subsidiary's country 7 . Matrix control and visibility 8 . Effective risk monitoring and management 9 . No language barriers The acquisition of the French group by its main competitor will interrupt the implementation of the "coordinated" international insurance program for the benefit of the Iberian subsidiary. However, in the case of health programs, the client will entrust us with the health policies of all employees and family members of the Spanish subsidiary. Thanks to our good approach and ability to read the client's needs, today, we have taken out personal insurance policies, specifically, the Agreement Accident Policy that covers all employees as a result of death and total permanent disability in the event of an accident at work; as well as the collective accident policy subscribed for the members of the board with insured capital and broader coverage contracted to measure.
